Your "ensemble" demo of the Arurio brass has a "soup" drums/brushes sound. What is it? It's great! Please advise!

    Thanks,

    Hi Chris,
Some time ago I emailed you asking about the patches you used for your superb Arturia Prophet V funk demo, and you kindly explained which ones you used. Since then i've been able to get up and running a very small setup with a MacBook Pro running Prophet V and Logic studio 8, and I tried to have a go at doing a copy version of your Prophet V Funk track.
Would it be possible to ask you a few more questions about your track so I can learn more please?
I have the "Ballet Bass" patch and it seems the filter is opened up a little more on your track. I've worked out the bassline notes and have recorded it into Logic, but my version just sounds dull and flat and life less..... :-( Even though I have the right notes and patch in Prophet V, my bassline sounds "different" but in a bad way .......
I guess you used a number of effects on each part in your track? Im guessing EQ's, Compression, etc on each individual track to get things to sound so rich and full? Did you use a master plug-in for the overall master effect? Did you use Logics own plug-ins?
I think i mentioned before how much I love your Prophet V funk track!!! Its true!! Its the best demo track i've ever heard!!! And I still listen to it, and its even on my iPod :-) Infact I rate very highly all your demo tracks. Do you also produce as a professional?
I hope you'll be able to explain more about your Prophet V funk track, if it would be possible of course.
Kind regards from a big fan of all your demo tracks :-) !!!!!!!
    Thanks,
    John

J'adore le générique d'Une Famille en Or, vous avez fait du bon boulot en le composant!
Bravo encore et j'espère que vous composerez d'autres comme celui-là!
